I have put together a spreadsheet which compares and ranks Food/Drinks by way of the worth of their attribute boosts.
For this sheet Health recovery is not included in the total bonus column as in pve it is of next to no worth and in pvp it is still not of equal worth to mag/stam recovery.
The point of this spreadsheet alongside providing a source to compare food/drinks was to highlight the extreme lack of worth within Purple Dubious/Witchmothers and Gold Arteum Takeway Broth/Clockwork Citrus Filets.
(1 Bonus Worth = 1 rec, rec worths listed below table)
My Notes from this, I am surprised by how well Blood Mara, Arteum Fishbowl (Not to be mistaken with the GOLD food) and plain blue food performed. Dubious / Witchmother coming out as the SECOND WORST of all viable food/drink sources was very disappointing, i expected the nerf to hit them but i still expected them to rank somewhere half way in the list.
P.S. If i have missed any new viable Elsweyr food/drinks please let me know, i couldn't find a good source listing if there was any.

The recipe drops during the New Life Festival. Keep checking traders, you should find a copy eventually as it the recipe does drop a lot during the festival.

Full name is "Lava Foot Soup-and-Saltrice". Has no health bonus, only stam and stam regen, so you will be very squishy if you don't get health from somewhere else. But if you are an Orc (+1000 Health) or a Necro (+1250 Health) or your tank is running Ebon (+100 Health) or a Warden is giving you Minor Toughness (+10% Health), you may be able to get enough extra health with no lost opportunity cost to get away with Lava Foot Soup-and-Saltrice.

Nice chart, one thing to note is that typically regen receives a lot more buffs than max stats, especially since the revamp of racial passives removing all percentage buffs to max stats. Regen gets buffed by CP, potions, medium and light passives, and class passives. Stam has very few buffs with the only common one being undaunted, mag just a bit more with mages guild passives and inner light, and health has heavy armor passive, minor toughness and certain sets like armor master. Point being, while the value on the actual food is lower for regen, it gets cranked up significantly more than the max stats food gives.
Also, health regen is very beneficial in PvP, more so for certain builds than others admittedly.

In pve. PvP’s a little different, witchmother’s and dubious are good but you’ll need health from somewhere else. They allow you to use SP glyphs on jewellery instead of regen.
More important in no-CP where sp/wp for damage > magicka or stamina.

I used to sell stacks of it like hotcakes in Mournhold, but I don't belong to a trade guild now. I'd ask around to see if someone can supply you. It's not expensive to make: saltrice, flour, potato, scrib jelly.
