The name Dutch Coastal Path speaks for itself. In 11 stages, you walk from the town of Sluis, near the Belgian border, all the way to the Hook of Holland by following the Dutch coastline for almost the entire way. This Collection contains the stages belonging to the first part of the Dutch Coastal Path, an extra walk around Lake Veere, and three more stages that’ll take you from Goedereede to Bergen op Zoom. The other way around, from Bergen op Zoom to Goedereede and then left to Sluis, or right to the Hook of Holland is doable if that suits you better. In total, this Collection consists of 15 Tours. The Dutch Coastal Path part 1 (LAW 5-1, (210 km/130 mi)) follows the rugged coastline of Zeeland and South Holland. Between Sluis and the Hook of Holland, you walk over high dune tops, along wide beaches, through old villages and towns, and of course, along the Delta Works. The Dutch Coastal Path part 1 is also part of the GR 5, the long-distance route to Nice in France. Decide in advance whether you want to walk a single stage, or whether you would prefer to make it a multi-day Tour. Some start and end points are easily accessible by public transport, but this is certainly not true for all of them. The same is true for accommodation. In the coastal towns of Zeeland there are plenty of hotels, B&Bs, apartments and campsites, but you will need to book these in advance, especially in summer. It can be more difficult to find a place to stay in other sections. Be sure to check this out before you start walking. The second leg of the Dutch Coastal Path is quite a tough one. There is no less than 35 kilometers on the schedule, although that does include the ferry crossing from Breskens to Vlissingen. If you think that's too much for one day, you can of course choose to divide the stage in two.
During this stage…

The third stage of the Dutch Coastal Path starts in Zoutelande, enthusiastically sung by BLØF and the Flemish Geike Arnaert. You will probably spend the rest of the day with the song 'Zoutelande' in your head. A shame, because you come across so many other beautiful places during your walk.
