AEP Ohio Issues Reports Near Grove City Country Club, Ohio
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Grove City Country Club and nearby locations:
- Tyler Woodbridge (@woodbridgetyler) reported fromGrove City Country Club, Ohio
If every person affected by @AEPOhio's decision to arbitrarily shut off power without warning were to protest outside their tower downtown, maybe they would think twice before pulling some bullsh*t like this again. Thinking of all the sick, young, elderly, etc. who suffered too
- Rep. Dontavius L. Jarrells (@iamDontavius) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@IMPACTCA is providing a $250 Kroger gift card to replace food lost during the @AEPOhio outage. To qualify, you must bring in your photo ID and a recent copy of your AEP bill. These funds will get used up, so please spread the word.
- nirRADICAL (@nirradical) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@sdfavor @AEPOhio Wow I worked for AEP 5 years and never even knew about this! Are you sure claims would be valid? I could see them denying...We are not responsible for unpredictable or preventative damages such as:Line failuresHigh WindsActs of GodCauses beyond the control of the company
- Mounir 🪬 (@MounirLynch) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@RobDorans @AEPOhio Meanwhile their CEO makes millions of dollars per annum but they can’t afford to maintain power. AEP are murderous pigs
- kimmy vicky 🥺 (@WiddowsonJake) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio my power out AGAIN. really hope we’re able to slap your incompetent asses with a class action lawsuit or something smh
- charity (@ceb3_) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Got off 30 minutes late because our outpatient facility has no power again! Had to call 31 people to reschedule important testing. Thanks @AEPOhio !
- 🏁skan*field🏁 (@ESJackets) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Well, I have no power. Thank you so much @AEPOhio you suck.
- Patrick 😶🌫️ (@pattatochip) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio my power is out. Again.
- USTrademarkLaw (@JoeDreitler) reported fromUpper Arlington, Ohio
@AEPOhio You turned off power Tues 2pm. Back 6 am & now off again. Intentional, really? Incompetent. I’m I’m Nowhere near storm. How long? I’m 71. Don’t have “other accommodations” @GovMikeDeWine
- Gregory P Schenk (@tenantrep1) reported fromUpper Arlington, Ohio
@Bcarp3 @AEPOhio I walked golfing yesterday 9 holes at noon found out it was 109 degree heat index . I had 3 waters and a smoothie before and 2 waters during. Twice thought was going to pass out and on 9 th tee felt like I had never worked out and I work out daily ! Hot hot hot 🥵
- Edible Intelligence (@samvance) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
THE POWER JUST CAME BACK ON @ BROAD MEADOWS BLVD 5:26AMMy groceries are still ruined, but at least I’ll be able to sleep.#columbus Cc @AEPOhio
- USTrademarkLaw (@JoeDreitler) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@MitsukiIsMySon @AEPOhio We were 16. On 5 and back off likely until Thursday sometime? You think they ca. supply @intel w power? Right. We will have more of these days. And PUCO does zero for customers
- Gerald Moore Jr. (@geraldmoore_jr) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
The electric companies have way too much power. @AEPOhio literally shut off peoples electric in a heat 🌊 in some of the poorest communities. Thankfully my in laws had electric and we were able to take the kids there but for the families with no other options I empathize. #ohio
- Jen House (@jenhouse) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Stop calling what @AEPOhio is doing “rolling blackouts.” That’s not what this is. To be a rolling blackout it has to actually move around. They just shut off power to a huge portion of the poorest areas of the city for what sounds like will be DAYS unannounced.
- Mounir 🪬 (@MounirLynch) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio you’re gonna start notifying people when you cut off their power first, right? I know you’re not obligated to provide customer service since you monopolize the entire area, but there’s gotta be some lessons learned here?
- James Johnson (@giganano9) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
If you have a monopoly on a city’s power grid, and you can’t sustain the entire city drawing AC when it’s >90F outside, then you’ve failed at your job. @MayorGinther should be treating @AEPOhio’s decision to intentionally black out even a single house in Columbus as exactly that
- Allison Wiley (@awileyx3) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Lol and now my power is out again. Seriously **** off @aepohio this is absurd. Can’t handle 90° days? FIX IT NOW
- D. Jennings (@d84jennings) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@iamDontavius @AEPnews This is outrageous! They forcefully took homes off the power grid, this was no storm or act of god. @AEPOhio #Shameful
- Jon Shecket🇺🇦 (@jshecket) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
I think @AEPOhio should absolutely charge a surcharge to all homes that did not lose power including my family.
- 🏁skan*field🏁 (@ESJackets) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@sween719 @AEPOhio It is city wide rolling blackouts because AEP infrastructure is ****. One storm caused this. It's really just them not being prepared for this situation. Just clowns taking our money and not investing it in a robust and sustainable grid.
AEP Ohio Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
- Donna Sweet (@DonnaSweet2) reported
@MayorGinther No excuse for @AEPOhio to shut off power for three - four days. I could understand rolling blackouts, but targeting specific neighborhoods for multiple days during an excessive heat wave is simply negligent. Also extremely dangerous with traffic lights out in major intersections
- Traveling Youngboy(Wembers💚Executive) (@FreedYB38) reported
@doubtKPH @AEPOhio They purposely shut off inner city areas too power surrounding areas that actually went out it’s sad
- Emily McCutcheon (@Emilyy_gracemc) reported
@AEPOhio I’m going to have to throw out over 100$ worth of food if this isn’t fixed and I’m not able to go to work because they also don’t have power. How are we going to be compensated?
- Joshua (@underscoreJ0SH) reported
@AEPOhio What ****** wind bruh it didn't even rain in southeast Columbus it was dry this morning💀💀
- Oresplendent1 (@oresplendent1) reported
@AEPOhio I rely on refrigeration so I can buy what I need and keep food costs from going out of control. I can't afford to eat even fast food 3 times a day and if I could it would be bad for my health in a real and more immediate way. This is beyond being uncomfortable and inconvenienced.
- Zweistar (@ZweistarIsTaken) reported
@AEPOhio Oh boo ******* hoo, some widdle wain dwops got on your billion dollar power grid, so you decide to shut off hundreds of thousands of peoples' power for a projected *two full days* when we're in the middle of a massive heat wave. What do we even pay you for?
- Concerned American (@Ohiowxfollower) reported
@kingbeacham1 @AEPOhio Please do it, I and others will join you. Wealthy neighborhoods have power, the working class and poor left with nothing!
- Anita Davis (@AnitaOnStage) reported
@AEPOhio Remember Texas’ winter power grid fiasco. When the investigations come for you - and all of us that you CHOSE for this “sh*t lottery” hope they do - we wonder how inconvenient and uncomfortable that will be for you. #HotnFurious #GroceryMoney #ICallBS
- Preston Sheets (@ThisGuyHaHa) reported
@beefcks @AEPOhio Because theyre just supposed to stop using the power they have
- russell varner (@russellvarner4) reported
@AEPOhio So what you’re saying is that your equipment is SO delicate, and that SO much power runs through just a few lines, that a thunderstorm can damage it to the point that 100K+ people’s power is out?! Please. #bullsh*t Also, the storm was last night.. my power went out at 3pm today
